Activating FeedFlare is optimizing your blog

Is your FeedFlare active? By the way what is FeedFlare™. FeedFlare™ is a FeedBurner service which allows you to add third party functionality to your post footer. It saves you from the hassle of adding HTMLs of Mixx, Newsvine, Digg, Technorati links, Del.ici.ous and of other widgets to your blog. All you have to is to have a FeedBurner account, which all of us bloggers should have, sign it to it, click optimize and activate FeedFlare™.

Another thing is that using FeedFlare™ will add adsense to your feeds and to your site. This is good especially when you have a lot of feed subscribers. Essentially, a feed subscriber reads your posts away from your site and through their e-mail. And then your revenue-generating ads on your page are skipped (that’s so sad). This is the ultimate reason why you should activate FeedFlare™ now so that you can add adsense to your feeds.

FeedFlare™ is an interactive add-on. It gives our visitors as well as our subscribers easy ways to email, tag, share, comment on the content and many others. FeedFlare™ places a simple footer at the bottom of each content item, helping you to distribute, inform and create a community around your content.

5 Ways to Build Readership

If you’re tired of nobody reading your blog then you need traffic. Traffic of course is a very important aspect of online success. That’s why marketers and new site owners pay for ad spots just to drive traffic to their site. Okay, if you’ve got thousands of visitors everyday, then how do you make them stick? Repeat visitors, of course, are the ones who’re easy to convert into paying visitors; because they’re the ones who know what you’re blog has to offer. Again, how do you make first-time visitors repeat visitors and repeat visitors paying visitors?

On an average the average visitor spends 8 seconds on a site. So how do you make them stick for a while? Getting their attentions and making them interact with your site is the key to online success. Now here are some points which will surely make your visitors stay around.

1) Informative Content – if you have a nice-looking site with no content then it’s like a runaway model with an empty brain. You pay for traffic with your money, time and effort, but with no content? Content, informative content especially, is what keeps them to come back. This is one of the reasons for a visitor to spend more time on your beloved site because of its mesmeric quality of content. But be sure to provide content uniquely and creatively because it’s common to find sites with similar contents. Make yours stand out. Okay?

3) Fast loading page - Visitors are easy to turn off. Slow downloads of your precious web pages will make them hop to another site. So don’t overload your site with heavy graphics. Clean up! Try this website speed test. The relevant range of loading time is between 0-8 seconds w/o taking into account internet connection.

4) Distracting your visitors is a no no! – A flashy site with pop-ups connotes despair. They’re desperately trying to get our attention. I know you don’t feel comfortable when you come across this kind of sites. So don’t try it on your own. Let’s learn from their mistakes.

5) Information architecture - is the structure, organization, navigation, labeling and indexing of your site. Is your site easy to navigate? Are related posts easy to find? Are your links and ads related? Make these questions a guide. You can ask your family and friends to browse your site and get feedback from them. That will surely help. Remember that your goal is to make visitors stay for long.

6) Call to action – Engage your visitors to interact with your site. You can add a soduku or whatever game you like, a chatbox, a poll widget or anything interactive that will keep them kinda busy for a while.

That’s it!

CashCrate:Earn Money Online!

CashCrate:

I have stumbled across a website who says she's earning 2000 dollars plus from CashCrate. I really don't know if that website owner who showed her check on one of her pages was a real thing. But I believe it is. For one thing though, you won't advertise useless links, right? And then then the second thing would be, she should be trusting CashCrate because she's getting a decent traffic and won't spend a useful space for a totally useless distraction.
Anyway, as I was browsing through CashCrate's pages I didn't find any questionable things. They have a copyright claim, an anti-spam policy (so the site isn't a splog itself) and then my site advisor didn't block it.

Things you that I think you ought to know about CashCrate:

  • Promoting on Friendster, Facebook, Myspace and etc. will get you banned. Read their anti-spam policy first for more info. ( these sites have there own ads running)
  • Minimum payout is 10$ but you can change it of course.
  • You can refer people and earn commissions.
  • You can exchange points for cool stuffs like iPod Video 30GB, PSP 3 and etc.
  • You can start earning cash by completing offers, answering surveys, and going shopping.

The Five Easiest Ways to Flood your Site with Targeted Traffic!

I believe there are countless ways to drive traffic to your blog. Obviously of course, some are a lot effective than the others (like paying for traffic is one of them). Here, you’ll read about the five easiest if not the most effective ways to drive a million visitors if not readers to your page.

Backlinks. Backlinks are one way links to a site. The more your site has these links the more popular you are with the search robots. And based on my research you need at least 1000 backlinks to make a cut. This requires patience and not-thinking-of-it-all-the-time-attitude because you just can’t ask each and everyone you’ll encounter to put up a link of your site from theirs. It has to come naturally and that means you’ll have to have a good site with a good content so that you won’t have to ask them to trackback. This dedication of course will pay off overtime and will surely flood your site with your target audience.

Link Exchanges. Hello, it is what it sounds. You ask people to put up a link from their site to yours and then you do the same for them. But this of course will work only if your sites are similar or relevant. Search engines FYI are programmed to be particular about which links to consider as valid. Don’t exchange links with another website if yours is about sex and the other is about finance okay.

You can join a lot of link exchange sites. I said a lot right? Why not bother with these two popular ones: www.sitepoint.com/forum and www.forums.digitalpoint.com My link exchange site: www.billionlinks.blogspot.com.

Networking. One of the best ways to sky-rocket your blog/web traffic is to start a network of bloggers/site owners who does have the same content to yours. You’ll have to befriend them (hehe) so that those in the network will share and brainstorm ideas, award you comments, propose you suggestions, bestow you violent reactions and voice their disapprovals. If they have posts similar to yours they may offer trackbacks and more. This is not only a surefire way to drive traffic to your site, this is also a reason for Googlebots and other search robots to increase you search engine rankings.

Social Networking. Social networks offers a wide audience. And if you want to tap their traffic powers for free, then you have to register to theirs. I would suggest these sites if you don’t mind: Digg Stumbleupon Linkreferral, Trafficswarm, Reddit. Del.ici.ous and others. And add me as friend, just search for shawncabacci.

Advertise.

a) You can send your site endorsements via email and sms.

b) You can tell your friends and family orally.

c) Buy ad spots on small sites with huge traffic but that means money of course.

d) Try Bidvertiser, they’ll give 20$ worth of free credits (click banner up) Google Adwords and more.

The bottom line of these all is profit. So be careful because you may end up paying, let’s say, 1000$ per month for ads but you only earn a modest 2$ on your sales or whatever.

My last words would be: I fail a lot of times. But I believe failure is the postponement of a greater success. Success doesn’t happen overtime. FOR NOW, I’m still a newbie (like you, because if you ain’t then why the hell are you reading this man?) when it comes to these things but when tomorrow comes, I will be the next big thing. Watch out!

Remove WinSpyprotect Rogue antispyware with this tool instantly!

I've been honestly bothered with this supposed antispyware: Winspyprotect. I've downloaded lots of Antivirus programs and scanners just to get rid of it. None of them worked but Combofix when my computer student friend told me.

Symptoms:

A pop-up usually after booting will say 25 threats detected.
They'll issue fake warnings that says spywares are on your computer or you're under attack by a hacker with an I.P. address of so and so.

They'll trick you into buying their full version which will never remove the problem, because the problem is the antispyware" itself"

screenshot:
I command you to remove this Rogue Antispyware Now! click here but read their tutorial first to properly run the program, on the site a link is provided to download the said program.

Or else, it will secretly import ZLobs and other spywares that steal your personal data.

If you think this is a helpful post, link to this post, leave a comment, or you may donate to keep this blog running.

Friday the 13th: A superstitious nonsense or or just a good excuse for something?

Paraskavedekatriaphobia is the medical term for the fear of Friday the 13th. But are the fears reasonable?

I believe that there are no justifiable reasons to fear this date because it’s just a superstitious non-sense. Surprisingly, about 21 million people subscribe to this fallacy. And it is thought to stem down from the combination of:

· 13th has been traditionally dubbed as unlucky since the ancient times

· Its relation to the Crucifixion on the Good Friday

The good thing is fires and thefts are fewer in America, probably because many people will not go to work on Friday the 13th.

Moreover, in Holland, the date is considered safer than the average Friday, according to the Dutch Centre for Insurance Statistics.

Over the past two years reports of traffic accidents are down from an average of 7,800 incidents on 'normal' Fridays compared to 7,500 on Friday the 13ths.

But according to the British Medical Journal the risk of car accident in the U.K. increases more than half on the Friday the 13th. Why is that so? Maybe they’re rushing towards home because staying at home is “recommended” (just kidding).

Researchers also found it out that although fewer people drive their cars, hospital admissions due to car crashes was significantly higher and concluded: Friday the 13th is unlucky for some.

The question is: Is Friday the 13th really unlucky or just a superstitious nonsense?

For me, if the Law of Attraction holds true then you are unlucky because you focus on the thing you don’t want to happen: to get unlucky.

Bye!

Free Ad Post! and when I need a job...

Hello friends, enemies, readers, bloghoppers, aliens and whatever, in case you haven't noticed my name above, then I have to say this once again; my name is Seanjames Camello. I'm a BSA-4 (that's Bachelor of Science in Accountancy for the uninitiated). My current study load is just 21 units per week, that's 4 and4.5 boring hours listening to boring teachers MWF and TTH respectively. Anyway, my point is, I need a job as a tutor for Koreans and Japanese etc. That's all. Because I have a lot of free useless time that I can spend for earning big bucks. (Then I can pay for my Internet connection!)

If you know somebody ( Korean and etc.) who's in dire need of a private tutor, online or not (if not then he/she must be based in Cebu), then please tell her/him to contact me.

My Contacts:

Phone: 0923-4468613
E-mail: seanjames_camello@yahoo.co.uk
URL: www.cabaccishawn.blogspot.com

Tell him/her not to worry because I have a 1.0 grade in speech (haha...I'm serious, so don't laugh!). I have 5 or more openings because a lot of my friends are willing to work part-time too.

On the other side of the globe, as my blog title tells you:Free Ad Post!, then I must tell you something about it, otherwise I'll lose your readership. Here it is; my friend told me that anyone can post advertisements for free online. All you have to do is to obviously click the blue large-font phrase three lines above. And then its up to you to explore the site regarding what it's all about. haha ( you can also click here darling!)

Of course if you're like me, searching for job opportunities, then you'll find the site useful. You can also find job offerings and other stuffs for sale like services and personal items, as well as dreaded/likened dirty old man looking for your "company" there.

Bye! Subscribe to my feed by clicking the blue box below the message board.

Increase your Brainpower now!

As I was reading the January issue of Reader's Digest mag I found these tips on how to increase brainpower. Check them out; these might help you prepare yourself before taking an exam or before taking the MENSA test.

1. Learn a word and use it often or work it to conversations.
2. Play Devil's advocate (I don’t know if it's a game or just an idiom)
3. Brush teeth with the wrong hand.

4. Take a shower while eyes are closed.
5. Solve a Soduku.
6. Take fish oil supplements or better eat oily fish instead.
7. Walk to work or to somewhere else using unfamiliar routes.
8. Meditate.
9. Talk to someone you don't know. (It’s better than you talking to yourself...hehe)
10. Watch Countdown.
11. Avoid Caffeine at least a week before an important test. (So I think no apples and iced teas. got it?)
12. Memorise your shopping list.
13. Take modafinil (that’s a drug to cure epilepsy; I forgot how it works here).
14. Visualize a mental route and walk around the house blindfolded, it will increase your spatial intelligence.
15. Put 12 objects on a tray. Memorize their location and get someone to move a few things about and then guess which moved.
16. Solve word power, anagrams.

This Rogue Winspyprotect! Please help!

( this problem is now solved, click here how I did it)

Could somebody out there help me on how to remove this Winspyprotect adware? This is slowing breaking the computer system down. It's importing viruses like Zlobs and Trojans on the computer. I called the technician a thousand times and the hell I know the reason why he's not picking the damn phone. For sure I'm not a computer expert and this problem is getting the brains out of me. I did countless research on how to remove the thing out but it seems none of them worked or is i t just I dunno how to make them work?

My research tells me that this adware is very hard to manually remove and may not be completely removed by automatic removers. Does this tell me to give up on research and reformat the computer as the last resort?

My worrywart tendency is making me restless. I can not do the things I have to do. Somebody empathize me!

Please Help!
